What cookies Ora del Garda and our affiliate partners use, why, how long they last, and how you can manage or revoke consent at any time.

This policy explains the cookies and similar tracking technologies used on oradelgarda.com. Read it together with our privacy policy.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser by a website you visit. Cookies are used to remember preferences, measure usage, and — in the case of advertising or affiliate networks — track activity across sites for attribution. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels; the same rules in this policy apply to all of them.

Cookies we use

We group cookies by purpose. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner on your first visit, and you can revoke consent at any time.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the site to function. They do not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive.

These help us understand how the site is used. They are set only after you accept analytics via the banner.

Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymisation. We do not run remarketing audiences from GA4 data.

Affiliate tracking cookies (set only on click-out)

When you click a link from this site to an affiliate partner, the partner sets a cookie on its own domain to attribute any subsequent booking to us. We do not set these cookies, and we cannot read them. Examples:

Cookie patternSet byPurposeTypical lifetime
gyg_*GetYourGuideBooking attribution30 days
Viator / Tripadvisor partner cookiesViatorBooking attribution30 days
Booking.com partner cookiesBooking.comBooking attribution30–60 days
Click&Boat partner cookiesClick&BoatBooking attribution30 days
Rentalcars partner cookiesRentalcarsBooking attribution30 days

Lifetimes vary by partner and are set on the partner’s domain. Refer to the partner’s own privacy and cookie policy for the most current values.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before withdrawal.

Browser-level controls

You can block or delete cookies directly in your browser. Doing so may break parts of this site that depend on strictly necessary cookies. Instructions:

For a global opt-out from many advertising networks (we do not currently run ads), see youronlinechoices.eu.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We respect browser-level Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where technically supported by our analytics provider. We do not currently honour the legacy Do Not Track header, which has been deprecated by most browsers.

Updates to this policy

We will update this page when we add, remove, or change cookies or trackers in any material way. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the most recent revision.
